The author grew up in Queens, New York City, where she developed a love for the diversity of people and their stories. After moving to the Midwest for her education, she earned two degrees and met her husband, who became her lifelong partner. Their time together was filled with simple pleasures like gardening and reading, and they deeply cherished each other’s company.

She has been a dog lover and always had a furry friend by her side. Even now, her loyal dog brings warmth and comfort, especially during challenging times. Her creative side found an outlet in art; some of her drawings have been published in various books.

In her professional journey, she built a successful career in interior decorating, where she helped others create beautiful living spaces. For nearly 15 years before retirement, she thrived in retail, enjoying personal connections with clients and transforming their homes with her keen eye for color and design.

After retiring to the serene Ozarks, she embraced a more peaceful lifestyle. Family gatherings and outdoor adventures became a priority, along with art and book clubs that sparked her creativity. Volunteering also filled her days with purpose, contributing to her sense of fulfillment.

Life in the Ozarks has been a joyful chapter for her, filled with love, art, and the beauty of nature.
